Alberto Simeone is the pen behind this latest Mylius 76 DS Yachts. He already provided the creative clout for all six models in the fleet of the yard which, although founded in 2003, was relaunched in 2011 when packaging magnate and sailing devote Luciano Gandini took over the helm. The Otam SD35 semi-displacement yacht

Stretching 23.1 metres in length (25.5 with the bowsprit) and 5.85 in the beam, it has an absolutely clean, uncluttered deck with all the sail controls tucked away as they run to winches in the cockpit which also has twin wheels.

The interiors feature four two-berth cabins and four heads as well as a crew quarters. A carbon-fibre rig and generous sail plan (the gennaker alone is 458 square metres) confirm Mylius’ commitment to building comfortable yet sporty models too.
